Description
In 1 Samuel 17:32 the verb נפל is used with a negative article before it and a subject that is formed by a word in the phrase as status construct and at last status absolute. Is this expression used more often in the Hebrew Bible? And if so, what are the subjects? The expression from 1 Samuel 17:32 appears only once in the Hebrew Bible. The expression does occur 8 times in combination with other subjects, in Joshua, Judges, 1 Samuel, 1 and 2 Kings and Isaiah.
