Description
In 1 Samuël 17:2 the word הָאֵלָ֑ה is used. Bible translaters translate the meaning of this word different. Where else in the Old Testament is this word used? What kind of place is it and what kind of things did happen at these places? It seems like a important historical place. Jacob burried there idols, the Engel of the Lord put Himself under the tree, David kills Goliath, Absolom hung himself with his hair on such a tree, and as a profecic image in the books of the profets. It seems like not one particular place, but a general term for big trees.
