Description
The various designations of God/the Lord in the biblical play a crucial role in OT scholarship. Look for all occurrences of the phrase יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים in the OT. What is the first occurrence?
ANSWER Answering this question, I searched for all the phrases where יהוה directly is followed by אלהים. Analysing the results, it becomes clear that the first occurrence of this phrase is found in Genesis 2:4.
