Description
Usually when speaking about blessing (Hebrew: ברך) people think of an act by God towards people, but can God also be the object of this verb? Where? Compare at least two Bible translations to see how they deal with this usage.
ANSWER Answering this question I have searched for clauses with ברך in the verbal predicate with God as object. Since God can be refered to as (i.a.) אדני ,אלהים and יהוה, I searched for all the occurances with one of these Names. Because SHEBANQ is searching in the 'chronological order' of a query, I wrote all the query in two ways (first the predicate or first the object (with the three Names) in a clause).
