Description
I’m looking for the noun vessels with verbs that are singular Daniel 1:2
10/30/24 This is really interesting. If I specify number as plural, Daniel 1:2 doesn't appear. I'm not sure why. I'm current search simply finds the article with vessel and it's interesting that most of the time, it's plural. That makes sense I guess when I think that most of the time, vessels are in plural. I'll broaden my search again to just vessel and see what I find.
10/31/24 Exodus 25:39–a talent of pure gold it does it all the vessels these (sg verb with vessels) Exodus 37:16–and it did the vessels (sg verb with vessels) 1 Sam 17:22–And it left David the vessels (sg verb with vessels)
I do want to write this up tomorrow, but it looks like I was finally able to specify that I wanted vessels to appear in plural. So far, most examples (with the exception of Jonah 1:5, Ezekiel 40:42), including Daniel 1:2, have verbs in singular while the object is plural. It makes sense since the verb is about the participant, but the verb to go is even used as singular. Tomorrow, I will attempt to see what happens when I add a search for the verb “to go.”
